my dad shared a post on facebook that was like "don't let your kids watch the Barbie movie, it's anti men and very offensive" and i left a coment saying "you paid for my ticket" i can't believe that he would trust the opinion of random people on the internet insted of both HIS WIFE AND HIS SON who BOTH saw the movie on release day and said nothing but good things about the film if someone thinks a movie that says "toxic masculinity is bad" is an attack on men then they probably have a wrong image of what a man should be my dad unironicly said "who was in charge? not the Kens" and im just very confused as to how you could miss the point so badly, then i remember that HE DID NOT WATCH THE MOVIE WITH US AND IS JUST SAYING WHAT OTHER STUPID PEOPLE SAY ON FACEBOOK so now my question is redirected at the idiots on facebook my mom still played with Barbies when she was dating my dad(around 15 to 19 years old) and she loved the movie, i never played with Barbies(there wheren't any in the house) and i loved the movie but my dad who has not seen it says its bad cus facebook said so i can't with him
